Well, I can see you are addicted to the 9x18mm family. I also have a P-64 and a P-83 plus a 7.62x25mm Tokarev. The Polacks are both great shooters with the hammer spring changed to a 18 pounder in the P-64. My Tok was brought home from WW2 by my wifes father. It was made in 1939 is in excellent shap...

After my first post after joining this forum about my jammed pistol I got the slide off and here is the answer. Yes I cleaned the gun super clean and lubed the rails with Hoppes gun grease.

Curly1, I worked on my P-64 again, I moved the trigger guard to the side again, pushed on the slide again and the slide popped off. Everything in gun the seems O.K. I am going to reinstall the 18# hammer spring and see how everything works. This is a great gun and I carry it all the time so I am kee...

Curly1, Thank you for your reply, Yes the slide is jammed wide open,and I moved the trigger guard to the side and the slide still would not move. I used Russian Brown Bear ammo, I have used it many times in the past. I did not find the used cartridge. I wish I could post a pic but my computer skills...
