Well, I can see you are addicted to the 9x18mm family. I also have a P-64 and a P-83 plus a 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Yes I cleaned the gun super clean and lubed the rails with Hoppes gun grease.

Curly1, I worked on my P-64 again, I moved the trigger guard to the side again, pushed on the slide again and the slide popped off. Everything in gun the seems O.K. I am going to reinstall the 18# hammer spring and see how everything works. This is a great gun and I carry it all the time so I am kee...

Curly1, Thank you for your reply, Yes the slide is jammed wide open,and I moved the trigger guard to the side and the slide still would not move. I used Russian Brown Bear ammo, I have used it many times in the past. I did not find the used cartridge. I wish I could post a pic but my computer skills...

Gentlemen, I have been a lurker on this web site for about 1 and 1/2 years now. I finally signed up yesterday after having trouble with my pistol. I hope you guys will help this newbie.
