I find these surplus mags interesting.
Both of these "new to me" surplus mags have the hand-engraved serial numbers but the one on the right has some interesting differences at the feed lips. I've never seen a factory magazines with these odd cuts. They seem to have a factory-matching hot blued finish over the machining.
I've seen these differences in the followers before but not the feed lips. Could this have been an armorer's special at some military/police armory in Poland? Or was this some late production modification at the end of the run?
I haven't shot them yet.
