I look apart my P-64 so that I could replace the disconnector. The problem is, when re-assembling it, I cannot get the gun to operate in double-action mode, only single action. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've followed the re-assembly instructions on the site and watched YouTube videos as well, yet I'm not seeing anything special about how you do the sear or trigger bar to get the gun to operate in double-action mode. I've even re-assembled it with the original disconnector and I'm having the same issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I'm getting quite frustrated taking it apart and putting it back together time after time.
Edit - I found the problem, it was a lack of pressure on the trigger bar due to testing it without the grips installed. Whoops. The upside is that disassembling it and reassembling it six times in a day has taught me some great tricks and I'm pretty good at it now.
