New P-64 Owner w/questions

Post by Airbornedevildog »

Just bought, what I believe is a nearly perfect condition P-64. The only finish wear is on the frame where the slide moves and a not even 1mm length on the left hand side(inboard holster) edge. Everything but that looks brand new, and you really have to look hard to find that piece of holster wear.

I guess my main questions are, the DA springs, I've heard wolf springs mentioned alot. Is there any other companies.

Pistol grips, Marschals have some nice craft wood grips. But are there other places that make them? ZEE grips was mentioned but I have no luck in finding a website.

Finally, anyone know of a compact shoulder holster that works for this gun for concealed carry. I have a IWB holder but its not what you would call comfortable.

Pictures to come after initial cleaning.

Also does anyone know of a laster that fits the trigger or better yet a side mount laser that is just above the grip?

No one makes a commercial laser sight for the P64. However, there is one gent who posted up how he adapted a trigger-guard type laser sight (CT maybe?) for his P64. Looked nifty.

Peace favor your sword,

Grips4U in Boise, ID (www.grips4u.net) says on their "coming Attractions" that they'll make walnut grips f/the P64 starting this month, altho I couldn't find them on their website. I'd think that just about any good quality shoulder rid f/aPPK would work well w/the P64, but can't swear to it. Enjoy your "new" P64 & HTH.

Yeah, I believe in ammo. As much as I can carry."
