New P-64 owner from VT

Post by Rvulcan500 »

Hi everyone,
I'm a owner for a P-64!! Yay :D . The only catch my my wife won't let me use it until after Xmas. It is a Christmas present for me. I got it from J&G sales. It was in good condtion but the slide was purplish so I sent the slide out to get reblued.
I have a couple of question if anyone can answer, where can I find a holster and extra magazine relatively cheap?
I really look forward to "getting" the P-64 for Xmas. It is a well made little pistol.
Thanks for any help and I look forward to becoming a "regular" here.
thanks
Ric

What do you consider "relatively cheap?"

I found a couple of mags at SOG for $17 and change. I would like to keep the price under $20 for the holster.
thanks

The Ace Case and Desantis Softuck are both in your price range and are both "tuckables" (which is what I prefer). The AceCase is less expensive but is also not as well made.

Ace Case:
$7 less expensive
rides with the grip at or just above the belt line
thinner leather
traditional belt-clip

Desantis Softuckk:
$7 more expensive
Heavier leather
rides the grip higher above the belt line
adjustable for cant angle
Uses a "J-hook"

Iklawson,
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the help.
I hope to finally get the P-64 together today. I'm hoping the slide assembly comes back today from getting reblued.
Thank you again it is very much appreciated.
Thanks
Ric
