Modify blued P64 slide to stainless?

Can it be done? I think I saw a pic somewhere of a stainless P64. That would be sweet. Wonder how much it would cost, or if it's something I could DIY?

The slide is carbon steel, not stainless. What you saw was likely a hard chromed P64 - I know Norm has one and it's really nice looking.
