General questions from a new owner

I put 300rnds through my new P64 today and wow.... I'm not just pleasantly surprised but shocked at the accuracy of this gun, and not one jam. Totally proud to say I'm an owner of a P64.

Anyway, with such an accurate small pistol I was wondering if anyone has noticed a brand of ammo that seems to, well be more accurate. It's just such a blast to shoot at 50yrds (I cant believe I'm saying that) that I absolutely want to milk it. How could I not? I only shot Fiocchi today, but I was looking at Silver Bear online given the price. But a bit leery to buy Steel cased rounds, anyway the only reason I bring that up is because they seem to be a phenomenal deal. So I guess that's two question; what brand do you think is most accurate, and thoughts on Silver bear...

Also I was wondering if people swear by certain lubes and degreaser. I just use some generic stuff, but I've always been worried it might hurt the gun given some things I've read. And when I go to the gun store there's just a section for lubes and I'm too overwhelmed to make a purchase.

Last question, there is an 11 stamped and circled on the right side of my gun(Made in 1968), anyone know what that stands for? I'm just curious.

The 11 is the factory symbol for made in Poland.

Silver / Brown Bear seem to shoot okay from my P-64. I just had a chance to shoot my own reloads from my CZ-82 today and they shot SUPER. The Silver Bear FMJ and HP's shot terrible with my CZ. As for lubes and such. Try to avoid using ammonia based cleaners in the barrel. While they may not, depending on how the chrome is clad to the steel, it could deteriorate the base holding the chrome (copper). There are several non-ammonia cleaners. I tend to just use Rem-Oil with excellent results, it's a cleaner and lube. Light gun oil will work to lube with. I use Hoppe's 9 gun oil. AVOID 3-in-1. It will get gummy over time. Some folks love WD-40, but other folks don't as it is said to get gummy over time as well. I really guess it is all personal preference. FWIW, hope this helps. Congrats on your P-64.
