Got my new P-64 today from SOG

Post by ramiriz60 »

I just recieved my P-64 today, a 1971 roundhammer twin to my 1969 roundhammer. This pistol looks brand new, and I dought it has ever been fired. It is stiff!, had a heck of a time getting slide off frame. The safety looks and feels like it was never moved. the feedramp still had the origional blueing. lots of cleaning, polish feed ramp, install 20lb recoil spring and 18lb hammer spring, and a generous amount of oil. I had to move the safety off & on about 100 times to slick it up. Now it is ready to shoot, as soon as I get the time. Being retired sucks, as I am too busy, to find time to do all the things, I said I was going to do when I retired. Honey - Do list gets bigger every day, not my wifes falt. She does most everything but, plumbing, electrical, & vehicle maintainence is my terratory. She is also not big on carpentry, after smashing her thumb, with hammer while helping to build my garage..... I have to be carefull what you say about a woman, who can shoot, as good as she can. She is not threatning, but you can't be too carefull.. Ha Ha Ha Hee Hee Hee. Good old girl fer shore !!!!!!!! & even better she puts up with MEEEEEEEEEE .

Have a good day, guys
