I didn't pay the hand pick charge but I did request a 1973 or later if possible so I might get a triangle hammer to go with my 1970 round hammer.
What I got was a 1974 in very good but obviously used condition as opposed to the unfired 1970 I got a few weeks ago.
There is a fair amount of holster wear on the front of the slide and the frame and such under the slide show some wear. But it looks to be in very good working order.
The one thing that concerns me a little is the screw above the left grip under the slide has been removed possibly several times by someone with less ability with a screwdriver than I would like. Obviously there has been some repairs sometime in it's past, but seems OK now. I wonder what it needed to be taken apart?
No holster this time and the second magazine has some corrosion on it.
Actually, it being a lightly worn pistol will have me using it more than than I would have used it if it was unfired so that's cool with me. Plus I really like the triangle shaped hammer, makes it real easy to cock the weapon.
