New P-64

First day out with new P-64 today. Had a new spring installed.Ran 175 rounds( 100 rds. Silver Bear --75 rds. S&B ) through it. Used two new aftermarket mags. Mag break-in instructions read: load 2, fire 2, load 3, fire 3, and so on until you fire six rounds in each mag times three cycles of this. Problem is this: all mags factory and aftermarlet drop loose after round # 5 every and the slide won't travel back to lock open. No problems on any other rounds.Any ideas ?

Sounds like you may have to go up atleast a pound on the hammer spring rating, as this also puts the tension on the mag release.
