FTE and FTF

Post by ogdengunner »

Well, I had my second day with the P64 today. I was firing Federal 95gr loads. I had kind of a mixed bag today. The first 20 rounds or so, I had no problems. Then I had s string of jams caused by FTEs and FTFs. I went through one box of Federals then stopped. Is this a normal experience with Federal ammo?

Mine has never failed to load or eject, as a matter of fact it will eject and fling the casing 20' back and right of me!

Well,
I did clean the gun after my first use and again yesterday after firing. It could be that I just need to get better at it. This is my first gun ownership in about thirty years since I left college and the military. As I get more experience hopefully I can get better at cleaning.
