Painting Zee Grips?

I'm thinking of painting a set of my Zee Grips, maybe a desert camo.

I read here somewhere that Krylon Fusion would work well, maybe use this as the base color first. Any ideas on what to use/how to paint the rest of the camo details? Anyone ever done this?

Brush? Spray? How could I get/mix the colors to get close?

scroll down and you can watch the videos for free .they go into very precise detail on different camo paterns also the special tape they use is at wal-mart at a fraction of the cost.i have used duracoat on several weapons and krylon on a couple if i can do it anyone can.if i can help in any way please let me know.its strange i was thinking about that just today.guess great minds do think alike.

Not sure if I want to invest TOO much in just painting a grip... think I could use a small brush and acrylic paint to achieve the same effect?

Not sure on the paint tho, maybe a hobby or craft store?

there are a lot of cheap but durable paints on the market.
i would at least invest in the tape .its like 3$ for a small roll.
once you make the template you can use a brush if you want .
depending on the type of paint you use.i would clean them good with thinner first, it dries fast and leaves no residue.you might consider a test project till you are happy with the result.i am going to do a set in winter twig latter this year. post them when you are done...............................................jerry
