What Made You Buy?
Many years ago when they were selling CZ50/70 for cheap ( I told myself I'll get one) now I couldn't find one at all. So when I heard about this P-64 for months now I told myself I am buying it, if it is less than $175. So last Saturday when I was cruising the GunShow aisle I saw this little P-64 on the table for $162 OTD. Without even looking at it close or test firing it I bought it. I don't like the DA pull at all but the SA is awesome. Overall I like it and I'll dry fire it until the DA gets a little manageable or I'll buy those wolff springs. Just maybe I'll use this as my CCW gun.

Cheap, weird.
I just love my commie guns, reliable as a stone ax. I consider reliability to be the single most important trait in a firearm.
I just got my P64 from AIM today. Like several other people have said, there's something about the feel of steel.

I am out of town again this week, but at least have access to the site! I went to the local shooting range yesterday evening and they still had one of the P-64 with the Triangular Hammer I wanted, but the price was still $229.99. I aksed them what the best price was and they said "that was it". I almost told them I know what they paid for it, but decided against getting into a "spitting contest". They said they have sold several at that price and the buyers got a good deal, YEA RIGHT!
Well, I guess the gun show this weekend in Greenville, SC may have some and I will be on the lookout for a decent priced Triangular Hammer P-64. As they say, "paitience is a virtue"!

Don't wait to long! I paid $200.00 for my second one. Private sale at a gunshow. Brand new with flat grips. I knew that I might never see another one with flat grips and this was OTD price. And another untraceable gun!

cruise,
yea, I know, but I just can't being myself to pay that much yet. I hope to find one at the gun show this weekend for no more than $160, but I will just wait to see what is there.

Year and a half ago, saw one at the back of a case at a gunshow, couldn't tell what it was. Was told "it's a Makarov" Knew it wasn't, handled it, thought of my PA-63 and IMEZ Mak needing company, my PPK holster collection, all my other comblock milsurps, and took the plunge at $149. Never looked back. Now that I've found this place, may have to get another one (one for carry, one for back door!) Thanks guys!

Okay so here it is:
I collect old Russian firearms, i.e. Mosin Nagant and was looking at a Makarov. I came across our little friend here, the P-64, and I fell in love with it. My brother and I both have one and I use it as my daily carry. Some day I will have a real Makarov to collect and keep the P-64 for carrying.
cheap, reliable. simple as that.
