The new firing spring is a PITA to replace, but they include it for safety reasons. It is slightly stiffer and prevents slam fires or firing when decocking. In general, it's a good idea to replace it anyway. There are youtube videos detailing replacement. Functionality is not the primary reason for replacement.
If Wolff automatically includes it, it's there for a reason like liability/safety issue. They wouldn't put it there for free if there was no benefit. If you CCW, accident type discharges are even more problematic.
