Wolff Hammer Springs?
Which one would you recommend (i.e., which "poundage")?

Get the combo pack of 18, 19, & 20 Lb, and try to see what you like best. It depends on the gun not all are the same. Some people have reported light primer strikes with the 17 and 18 Lb ones. Plus the lighter you go the more of a "Hair trigger" you will have in single action.

Here is an excellent vid on doing the main spring (hammer spring ) change.
I have the 17lb hammer spring and it fires fine but does have a hair trigger.

If you can operate a screwdriver and know how to remove the slide, you'll be able to quite easily take all of the guts in the frame apart in a few minutes.
