first time to range

I finally made it to the range this last weekend. my p-64 shot very accurately, but kick the carp outta my hand. only got 2 or 3 mags through before i had to put it down and shoot something else for a awhile.

Yup, that's pretty typical with the standard recoil spring. Cheap and easy to fix though.

Try the 22lb recoil spring and a rubber grip or bicycle inner tube around the grip.

Question? If you put on a 22 lb. recoil spring in the gun, how hard is it to rack the slide compared to the factory spring?

I just got a Houge Handall, and WoW! What an improvement in felt recoil. Well worth the $7 I spent on it.
