This may have been done already, but I have seen:
P.W. Arms
I.O.
C.A.I.
Is this it or are there more Importers? Is this recent batch of Century ones the first ones to be imported by them.? Also, who seems to have imported some of the first ones brought over?
How many Importers?
Re: How many Importers?
No idea who was 1st, but I think you've covered current/recent importers. My vintage 1972 was brought in by PW Arms. & bought from, I think, AIM.

Re: How many Importers?
I think most of the early ones were imported by Tennessee Guns with the TG KNOX dot matrix mark.
C.A.I. is Century Arms International. I'm not sure when they started (you could probably ask them if you really want to know), but I think it was several years ago.

What about Dalvar? I know they've imported the F.B. Radom: Vis WZ. 35, TTC, P-83 and M.A.G. 95/98 but did they import any P-64s?

I've not heard of them before. Do they have a website?Weasel640 wrote:What about Dalvar? I know they've imported the F.B. Radom: Vis WZ. 35, TTC, P-83 and M.A.G. 95/98 but did they import any P-64s?

Archer Arms is the current commercial entity that operates @ the Radom factory site. There's a very interesting article re the history & current operations @ Radom in a recent issue of Shotgun News. They're a manufacturer, not an importer, as such. I have 2 weapons made there: my P64 pistol & a 1988 wz.88 Tantal(Polish AK74) rifle. BTW, the article explains that the Tantal came about because the Soviets tried to over-charge the Poles for the manufacturing rights & blueprints for the "original" AK74 design, so the Poles decided to design their own version, which they did, and did very well I think.
