Mag base
Anybody got a mag base with the letters PBK with three moons rising in the background and all this in a square. All mine are shiny smooth until I got this one. It is the finger rest style. Just thought I would sound off about it and was wondering if these are common.

Re: Mag base
You should put a photo of it on here. Never saw or heard of one like it.

Re: Mag base
Tried to take a pic and upon magnifing lens inspection it is a sticker. Had me fooled--has been there a while, fits nicely and has all the patina of the rest of the mag bottom. BPH-PBK is a bank in Poland and that is their logo!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it is coded so when you go to an ATM you can whip out your P-64 and scan the mag base.
Re: Mag base
Post pics anyways, adds to the history maybe it was bank guard property.

Re: Mag base
Here is the best I can do with a pic. Not much. The camera makes it look kinda green and brings out the edges. It does not look like this. I think there may be one of those clear covers over the sticker that you can pull off. The lower left is where I started to raise it. Could be there bank guard like curly said or maybe some Pole put it on his mag to keep up with which one was which without having to pull it out.
