Marschall Grips- Very Nice (pics)

Post by Foo Bird »

Just got my alder wood grips in today and I'm very impressed.
They look fantastic and the fit and finish is excellent. He even included a hex head screw. They fit very tightly to the frame which is a surprise. In fact, tolerances are better than the orginal grips it came with.
The fit is so good, if you tighten the grips a little too much, it will interfere with magazine fit and trigger pull.

I did have to correct one small area. There was wood blocking the sear (or hammer) from cocking. 30 seconds with a rotary tool fixed it.

Worth every penny from the looks of it. If I get another P-64 they will wear his grips as well. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. I might be busy shooting, though.

Forgot to mention, it now feels like a different gun-for the better. The only downside is that the grips make working the safety more difficult.

I'm thinking the perfect set of grips would be Hogue overmolded ones but shaped just like the ones I got from Dennis.
