Is the head of the screw most properly placed on the right or left side of the P-64? Mine arrived with it on the right side and I've seen plenty of pictures of others like this too. I did find an exploded-view diagram here (looks like an original Polish print) which shows it on the left. My plastic grips screw hole recesses look like it was placed both ways on this one previously.
Obviously either "works". Does it matter? Seems likely that the inventors probably would have had one visual in mind. I did try the search function and learned some interesting things about problems folks have had with over-tightening, under-tightening, cracked grips, etc. Glad I read about those things and seems like another good reason to get some replacement grips for style and function.

Re: Silly grip screw question
I put mine in from right to left. Not because of looks but for comfort. The screw length is a bit excessive and if it were on the right side, it could chew up my palm a little bit, thus why I put it on the left side. Either way doesn't matter though.
Re: Silly grip screw question
Either direction is fine, IMHO. Just don't over tighten screw 'n crack plastic grip.
