safety problem.
Went to the range today. First time shooting the pair of P-64's I picked up. First off I love one of them. Very comfortable comparitively speaking. Gun#1 I have put the 22# Recoil spring and 17# hammer spring. Gun #2 Is stock no upgrades. Gun #1 chambers and fires very nicely in SA and DA. Gun #2 does not always release the safety and has feed issues sometimes it feeds sometimes it doesn't. I used 2 kinds of ammo. Silver Bear and Priv. Neither seemed to feed better then the other. What would cause the gun not to fire when taken off safety. I will do my best to answer any questions if you guys need more info.

1) Make sure all the cosmoline has been cleaned out. I've found it in places in the gun I didn't expect.Tufrthnails wrote:Went to the range today. First time shooting the pair of P-64's I picked up. 2) Inspect the safety lever for obvious damage.

I have yet to take the safety apart think I am going to have to do it. Kinda curious to tear it down anyways. Will definitely use the bag trick I have read about on here.
