Thinking on owning an P-64

Post by josey88 »

Hi, there : I am new to this forum . I saw a p-64 listed on some magazine and it called my attention. It would be my first "east block" pistol . Until now , I was dedicated to Berettas , Sigs and HKs , but this little pistol somehow called me , so , I decided to search and so far I like it. As fas as I can dig, it will be neccessary to replace the springs with Wolff`s , and I was impressed by the wood grips of this guy in Hungary. BTW, it seems that his site is closed and not accepting grip orders . The holsters from the USGunleather are also impressive . I would like to buy one of those little pistols , but face to face if possible , to avoid paying my FFL the $45.00 +5 that he charges for a transfer . If, later on I see that it is unavoidable, well , I would have to do it thru him . In the mean time , if someone has one please contact me. Very strange, but , as nice and informative as this forum is , it doesn`t have a thread to sell or buy parts or guns ... very unussual . Any way, hello to everybody from Florida !!!

Pretty new to P-64's myself. Just bought mine a couple of weeks ago. They are great little guns, and I intend to use mine for CCW. You are right about the springs. I replaced the mainspring in mine to make the double action trigger pull much more practical. Most holsters that will fit a PPK will fit the P-64. As far as a for sale section, you have to have made 10 posts before you are able to view it.
If they think they can take my guns, they are wrong......I will own them until the day I die. Never be afraid or ashamed to protect your rights.

Well, now I understand ... ok so I have 8 more posts to go. I will try to buy one FTF and if not, then I`ll order online and add the FFL fee .
