P-64=PPK=Tomcat? size?

Post by jebib3 »

I'm looking for an inside the pocket holster. None are made for the p-64 as you would probably agree. However, on numerous occasions I see references to both the Tomcat and the PPK. How disappointed would I be if I purchased an inside the pocket holster that was identified for those other two, to use for my P-64? Thanks for your comments.

I use a DeSantis SuperFly for the PPK as my pocket holster. It fits well, in my opinion. If I had any complaints it's that it might ride just a little low in the holster, you need to make sure you have your fingers around the grip to get it out smoothly and quickly.

jebib3,
I carry my P-64 in an old Uncle Mikes pocket holster that I got when I carried a Walther PPK .380 and the product # 7844-2 should work out well for you. I did take it to a leather shop and had a velcro pad sewn on the outside. As we wear a lot of shorts here due to the hot weather, I had the fuzzy side velcro piece sewn into the inner pocket so that the Uncle Mikes pocket holster would not slide out with the P-64 pistol. ;) It sticks so well that I have to peel off the empty UMs pocket holster after safely removing the pistol. :)

Works well for me, as I can always wash the neopreme/nylon holster in warm soappy water and it cleans up well. 8-) Sgt P.
