I think after taking a long hard look at this little pistol, I"m sold. Now I know that J&G has them for a good price, but I just can"t stand the billboard import mark.
Is there any place out there that has these pistols without the importers mark on the side of the slide??

Absence of an importer's mark might be an issue with the BATF?
Maybe check out IO Inc? My P-64 is an IO import. I'll check the import for pics.

Well, I suppose it depends on your perspective of a billboard...

Considering the price, I may just have to go with J&G. Whats the general condition of most of their P-64s now? Very good, or better? Do they have a "hand select" option?
If yours is a J&G, and this is about average condition, I think I can live with the import mark.

This was from a local shop... not sure of the distributor.

TN Guns was the original importer.
They marked the pistols in a very nice, discreet manner, on the frame, under the muzzle.
You might want to ask about the import marks on those you see for sale on GB.
I know what you mean about the billboard marks. They look like hell on a nice gun. I have stuck with the TN marked pistols all along. That is the primary reason I have not purchased one from J&G. Also the J&G P-64's look like they have been carried and fired. I am used to TN marked unfired examples.
I have seen a few at shows that looked like they were beat up pretty well, asking price $275+ (Laughing).
"$50.00 for the safety, sear, and firing pin? You can keep the gun, I just want the parts!"
I have three sweet P-64's at this time. All TN marked. 1968,1969, 1975. The 1975 has been modified with Wolff springs. No other mods.
