Looking at the hammer spring that some many are replacing with a lower power wolf... Let the flames begin but... has anyone just considered trimming the spring down one coil? No, I didn't do it. Sure is tempting though!

That pesky little bugger is a pain to get back on! Done now but, sheesh!

wolf doesn't make any trigger return springs, but I do,
go here and go down the page http://www.p64resource.com/goods.php
don't cut a coil off the hammer spring , it will be the wrong length, and you will start having mag drops
no flame intended

I just went to that link. That might have been an easier way to put the trigger spring back on than the method I used.
I did get it back on though.
Thanks for the advice about cutting the hammer spring. I can see where it provides tension for the mag release and could cause all kinds of inadvertent problems.
Thanks for the reply!
