p-64 from centerfire

got in 3 p-64 in from centerfire all in one box set on top of each other, i look like had been used as a hockey puck. on a scale of 1 to 10 i got a 1 and 2 twos, anyway one of them has a broken firing pin and centerfire will only give a credit because they don't have anymore, got the last 3 LOL where can i get a new firing pin ?????

Hopefully Norm or one of the other senior members will see this and verify what I think. I don't believe that there are any parts available for this gun. I suppose a gunsmith could make one for you, but I have no idea on cost.

Centerfire is out, SOG is out. J&G no longer offers hand select. If you want one better get it quick!

I bought a p-64 from centerfire about 4 months ago. the problem i have is that the slide jams open on the last round and it wont release. i cleand it up really good and i replaced the recoil spring. i'm shooting 95 grain rounds should i try the 100 gr rounds. but i dont think that is the problem anybody have any ideas.

rabbit

do not use any over 95 grn in a P-64 unless its all lead
and there are no parts for these guns so shoot quility ammo in them (do not shoot wolf ammo in these guns)

Rabbit,
Just a suggestion but you might want to remove the slide stop bar and check to make sure it pivots freely and also see if it has a weak or broken spring (Norm sells new ones). The slot for the spring can have quite a build-up of "mung" so clean it thoroughly. Also, inspect the inside of the bar where it contacts the top of the frame. If there is a burr there, take a fine file or stone and clean it up so it moves up and down freely.

First welcome aboard, glad to have ya with, second, what ever Norm tells me I just do it, it has made my life a lot easier with all my guns, and heavyduty77 suggestion is valid also, I might add, does all your magazines do this or just one mag in particular, it could be that mag is either dirty, weak spring or have a burr, bent follower or lip, I had that issue once.

I dont have a p64 yet but i'm quite sure wolff isnt going to hurt the gun. Lots of ar15 people say the same thing oh noez wolff will kill my gun but yet i have thousands round no prob. I also have polish military surplus 9x18 ammo and it has a copper case same as wolf. SO if its good enough for the polish military its good enough for me

Hey, if we could get a gunsmith to make a bunch of firing pins for all of us who want or need one or two, maybe he could get the price down eneough for us to purchase what we needed and a spare. What about it???

You know, I been thinking about getting a few trigger return springs from Norm, so it just might be a good Idea to do this and have a small stock of spare parts..
