Don' know if my newest find will create much interest here but maybe a few of the older members might appreciate it, I picked up a Winchester third model 1890 .22 short Gallery rifle with the take down screw, its serial number dates it back to 1907-1908, [334XXX] someone has added for some reason I can't understand why anyone would put a flip up peep sight on it, its not original equipment but I still had to have it, furniture and metal are in good condition, I'd call the furniture in 80% condition and the metal in 65%, pump receiver action is VG, it has not been re-barreled, all appears to be original except for the peep sight. These pics are as I got it, will clean it up and see how it shoots.
I can remember shooting one of these as a kid at our county fairs around here back in the 50's and 60's, they hated to see me coming, gotta find some .22 short ammo for it, shouldn't be very hard and give this puppy a run through.
