P64 rear sight

Post by tnscooter »

I have a 1976 P64 and today while shootting it I noticed the rear sight is a little over to the right, it is only the second time I have shot it and have only had it a week, I dont remember it like this before but could have been. It doesnt move by hand so figure it was this way, is there anything I can do or will I need to take to a gun smith? Thanks, Scott

P64 rear sight

It was probably sighted in when you got it - if it shoots fine, don't worry about it.

P64 rear sight

It shots about 4" to the left from about 25 ft, was told of a gun smith today and may take about 3 months to get done, totally not acceptable. Seems Ive seen a tool I could buy and do myself, wouldnt be so bad to justify the cost if I could use it on my other guns, does anyone now where I could get one online. Thanks, Scott
