I'll try to make a long one short:
I've always been a traditional revolver type guy. My son (22) talked me into getting a PA-63 when he and his older brother (27)each got one. I balked like hell but finally gave in. The first time I shot it I flat out HATED it >:(. The web of my hand(actually the base of the thumb knuckle) hurt for days. I don't have big hands and I was going to just sell the gun to the first guy with the money. The next time I took it to the range I purposely changed my grip on it and to my suprise, it only "twanged" me a little bit. I guess that was enough to make me put 10 out of 14 in the center circle @ 10yrds. This gun is damn accurate, and for $99 bucks it's a definite bargain and a keeper! On the down side... I hate chasing the brass, especially in the grass! +1 for a revolver. FWIW, I just got an Uncle Mike's 8101-1 Size 1 Holster for it this morning and it fits great and is almost unnoticable on my hip. I'd like to thank this forum for all the great info and testimonials that kept me "in the hunt" on my PA-63. A recoil spring will make this my "summer carry" for sure! By the way Norm, if I read it right, the higher # spring will effect a lesser recoil? TIA.

Yes on the recoil spring it will reduce it some
I find the Dennis's grips also reduces the recoil a lot more

Yes it seems to be a good one GR. The nicest part is, I believe that it was unfired or "barely used" when i got it
one MINOR scratch (1/16th) on the slide and no other "fouling" or marks of any kind.
It cycles perfectly (knock on wood) with American Eagle 95 grs. I only wish it had a brass collection bag! LOL
Thank you both for your help and welcoming.

mine also looked unfired when I got it, and once I leaned how to grip the gun, I was very happy with it. Also, the heavier 15# recoil spring (factory is 11#) and some thicker grips helped alot.
