I know I wasn't going to buy another gun or rifle for a while because of the new car, witch i did buy, but opportunity knocks well
I went to gun store in Winter Haven and spotted this Romanian SKS the only # that doesn't match is on the but plate and the stock so I ask the guy how much , he said 179.95 I said sold it came to197.55 (OTD) I so excited didn't even ask if he would take my C&R

I knew you would find a way to get another gun after getting that Mustang, very good pick up on that Romanian SKS. We do tend to get excited when we find a deal like that.
I eye balled a 1953 Russian SKS all matching this morning at a flea market in Panama City, he is holding it for me till tomorrow morning, I got a deal working on a 1950 SA M1 Garand at a Lynn Heaven pawn shop, however, the price is a tad more than I want to pay and tonight is our kitchen table gun show I got a bunch of stuff to look at too so, all of a sudden I got bunch of stuff to consider, this is why I love coming to Florida, deals are all over the place up here in the Panhandle, course I had to build up my traps, so now when I come down I just run my traps and usually come away with some good deals. I'll let you know how things turn out.
we had a bit of a cold front move in witch brought the temp. down to 70 degree in the garage and slowed the drying time down but I think it's finished.
had to add to more peg's to my rifle rack
all my SKS's = top 59/66 , M 59, M 59 , M 59, ROMY 1958
next, trip to the range
Looks like more rack space is in order, no more room for pegs eh?
You do some mighty fine work Norm :-*, I know I don't have to say that, but I am going to anyway!!
OK NORM, Now thats just bragging and I don't even have one yet, I have been bidding a lot, just not a winner to date. Hay what type of scope mount do you need for the SKS, are they hard to come by and are appropriate scopes hard to find?
