Independence Day Shoot Postings

Post by carguy »

Not to be a jerk but I think we need to keep the thread with the targets on it nothing but targets. If we start to make comments even those complimenting someones prowess with their P64...it will take the judge(s) forever to get through the postings.

I'll take the criticism if I'm wrong but I just want to make it as easy as possible for our members to compete and judge. Remember we want to do this regularly and don't want to make it "work" to do the judging.

Just my 2 cents.

Might as well just to let everyone know.

Post here, post there just don't post your opinions, constructive criticism, bad jokes about my marksmanship etc. etc. etc. with the targets.

Some other forums are set up to allow moderators to move posts to more appropriate threads if need be but I don't know if it can be done here.

I don't think we need the Thread moved and the individual post can be deleted by a moderator but I don't think they can be moved. And that again would be making more work when we just want this to be as simple as possible so we can do it more often...quarterly?!?

How about an Independence Day Shoot, Great Pumpkin Shoot, New Years Shoot and maybe an April Fools Day Shoot?

This certainky doesn't need to be decided now but something to think about once we pull this first one off and figure out what might need to be tweeked for a second.

ok guys, I added the new rule.

I agree that the shoot dates don't have to be decided now but I also have suggestions for the 4 shoot dates.

Ok, this completely escapes me! I haven't followed the previous threads regarding a shoot, and this thread seems to add to something and I can't follow.

Barnett, are you leading a cross-country email target post? Nothing could be finer. I'm in. I hope there is a final, summary thread that announces the event and posts the rules. I hope nobody laughs my targets off the forum. Forty years ago the Army labeled me a Marksman, but now days ...........

nbender,

It all started here http://p64.proboards67.com/index.cgi?bo ... 387&page=1

The rules and the thread to post entries is right here http://p64.proboards67.com/index.cgi?bo ... 1182398693

the match has technically started and everyone is welcome to go ahead and post their targets, hookedonsks has "broken the ice" and put his target up first. This is purely for fun, and hopefully, any laughing will be congratulatory and celebratory laughing.
