Thanks to J.D. for the leather grip idea!
I did these a couple of years ago but couldn't post a reply since I didn't have an account here and couldn't seem to make one.
These were done with 2.5mm thick pigskin leather similar to what a football is made from but maybe a little thinner and stretchier. I used S-18 adhesive which was what a leatherworker advised me to use. What a HUGE improvement in grip and felt recoil. It's like wearing leather driving gloves shooting the P64 now. The leather feels great against the skin too, while carrying AIWB.
