Trigger guard questions

The trigger guard pin on my P64 broke this morning at the range. Also lost the plunger. Does anyone know if the trigger guard pin for a Hungarian PA-63 would work? Also, someone on here suggested using a roll pin in place of the trigger guard pin. Both original parts are available on gunbroker but the PA-63 part and a roll pin would be significantly less expensive. Thanks for any advice you have.
