We were talking together with pezzonovante about or gun law over a year ago, and there were no change from this moment :'(

In fact I'm lucky that I can have only one pistol.
And I have it because I'm military. So I have more chance.

The true is that ordinary citizen has no chance for gun license.

Because in Poland if you want to have a weapon:
Firstly You must have a gun license.
Only police is allowed to give you the license.
And police don't want citizens to have any weapon(it is hard to believe but three years ago we were not allowed to buy even air pistol).
Even policemen have a problems with the license.
They're afraid even their own members - this is crazy.
So we soldiers are lucky because we have licenses from our MP. But even though there are some problems.

Sorry Bartos. And I thought that the gun laws in the United States were screwy!

I already have two P-64's and probably won't get any more for a time. However, if any of you have two or are planning on getting a collection of two P-64's, allow me to make a 'fun' suggestion. Put one in one hand, and the other in the other hand, line sight to a general (safe) target and pull both triggers at the same time.

I did this recently, partially because although I'm left-handed, I generally shoot right-handed (with a pistol), but am almost as good left handed. A friend had helped me with the new Wolf spring conversion and we wanted to see if it was easy to tell a difference in felt recoil. By the way it was. But the interesting thing was the very odd echo coming from shooting both of the P-64's at the same time. I've never heard anything quite like it!

Probably no new P-64's for me in the near future, but I am weakening with regards to adding a CZ-82.

I have four P 64s - 2 round hammers & 2 triangle hammer ones.
I guess I'll have to buy a few more to have parts guns. I also
have two CZ 82s.

I bought 3 in Nov 2005. I seem to prefer to buy my milsurps 3 or more at a time. I also like the discount for multi purchases.

You know (and I mean this in no way to cast aspersions on anyone on this thread or forum that operates differently than I do) I don't "accumulate" nor can I afford to buy multiples and save them as investments. So my goal is to buy 1 of everything I can afford! A P35, P64, Makarovs, PA63, CZ82, FEGs maybe a TT and a CZ52...etc. I really like the 9x18 caliber and I love anything made in Radom!

So I don't anticipate buying another P64, just to keep shooting what I have. I've recently had 2 opportunities to pick up additional Bulgarian Makarovs but I can only shoot 1 at a time so I'm just waiting to buy my next new "whatever" it might be. 8~)

If my P-64 broke I would get another one but since I have a good P-64, when I buy additional firearms I will get something I do'nt already have. I would prefer a varied collection. I would really like a Colt Mustang 380 but wow the price tags!

I am like you, however, if I come into a deal I can't refuse, I will use what I get and maybe another, to trade up to a real sweet one. Just so long as I keep my status as a non-collector. That is what I tell my wife, who occasionally asks; "How many do you have now honey?" ;D
