I just received two more P64 pistols recently imported as surplus, one of them has a lightened double action trigger pull already, whoever used this pistol must have replaced the hammer spring themselves. This one had a spring that was a darker color than the other two I own. I went ahead and changed out the hammer Springs on the other two of them.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this?

No, and I've refurbished 9 P64s altogether. In my experience, the OEM spring was darker (almost black) and thicker wire while the new (assuming Wolff) springs were lighter (silver/grey) color and of thinner gauge wire.
