Don't forget the Red Sox "Impossible Dream" year of 1967, they are celebrating it regularly with the players coming back to Fenway etc. as this is the 40th anniversary. Didn't the Cards beat the Sox in 7 that year? We need to make it the best 2 out of 3 and settle this once and for all.

You got a point there, 2 out 3 would be a fair way to finalize the question........and lets not forget who won that series, yes the Cards beat the Red Sox in 7 games in '67. The 67 WS and the 68 WS I missed because I was in Nam, but I did get to listen to a couple games in '67, in '68, I arrived back state side during the WS and flew into S. Louis from San Fransisco and couldn't meet my wife there because no rooms were available, so I had to fly on to Evansville, IN, and she picked me up there and the second thing I did after meeting her was I put my B4 bag down, hey its tough making whoopee holding a B4 bag......... ;D ;D ;D

yes indeed ! Thanks guys ! That was painless and fast ! I have so much crap on my PC (24Gigs) that i have trouble keeping track of stuff , so it took awhile just to find a pic. lol she robbed the cradle ! hahaha
her bday and mine are 4 years 364 days apart. (mine is a day earlier than hers.) I call her "A Classic".
