Strut washer

Was taking my P-64 apart and realized that there is no strut washer. Of course I am going to blame the previous owner, although I am probably at fault with careless disassembly techniques (bonehead that I am). I read on the forum that someone used part of a rivet as a replacement. Has anyone else found any other suitable alternatives or know where I can find this tiny, rare, unusual specimen of a part???
