My first P64. It came to me with a buggered-up Trigger Return Spring. I replaced it, now I believe I'm having issues with the Trigger Bar / Sear engagement. It will successful drop the hammer sometimes, but it quite often will also not return the Trigger to the full forward position. When this occurs the Trigger can be pulled and it free wheels, still springs forward but the Trigger Bar appears to not re-engage the Sear. It will re-engage when I force the Trigger to full forward stop.
It also refuses to function in double action.
Does anyone heave experience with this issue?
P64 Trigger Bar - Sear Issue
Re: P64 Trigger Bar - Sear Issue
Welcome to the forum
If you got it from a gun dealer recently like Aim or Classic I would seriously consider calling them to have it replaced.
If not then a search on disconnect or or trigger reset will pull up a bunch of posts on those problems.
