Hey all. I just bought a great old lever action model 94 Winchester in .30-.30 Win. and want to load practice ammo. The powder I have is IMR 4895 which has always been good for my 06' so I want to try it in the .30-.30. I also have 150 gr. lead flat nose with gas checks. Anybody with some useful data welcomed to chime in. Thank you.

get you a copy of ,Lyman cast bullet handbook,

you would be surprised, using unique 7.5 grn's will do and it will almost fill the case ,, there is no loading data for IMR 4895 , they do have a load for 3031 starting load is 22.5 to 28. grn's , I would start there
