I installed Wolff springs (hammer, firing pin, and recoil spring) and now I can't get the slide off. Everything works perfectly fine except for this. Any ideas?

Did you grind the end of the spring near the breech flat like the original?
Try using gloves to get a better grip on the slide and grips.

I had to end up pushing the back of the slide down onto the edge of a table to get enough force to pull it off. Ground off the edge of the spring and everything works great now, thanks!

I've seen people talking about how they have troubles if they don't grind flat the 22lb. Wolf spring.
I put mine back together yesterday without doing anything to it, and I can put on, and take off the slide all day long with no trouble.
It isn't even that hard to rack the slide. The ends of the spring were not flat t all, the coils were rounded , like a spring usually is.
I wonder if they tweaked the spring after getting complaints about them...
Heck, I installed a 18lb. recoil spring on my CZ 82(14 is factory), and I can barely rack the slide the conventional way. Racking it "sideways" is my best option now!

Yea I don't have any problems with mine not being ground flat either.
