I think I screwed up last nights loadings

I loaded about 50 9x18's last night using a 105 grn lead .363 round flat point bullet seated at about .967 coal +/- with 4 grns of HP38. I meant to be using 3.8 grns. I have an excellent p64 with a heavier recoil spring. I am a little worried about those 2 extra grains of powder. Can anyone comfort me by saying they have used this loading in their p64? :?

Have you shot the 3.8 grains before and was there any signs of over pressure ...... ?

No I have not used HP38 before but I did find the loading below listed by Norm in "Pet 9x18 loads"

1. Bullet description = 100 grn lead sized to 363
2, Case used = 9 MM cut down brass
3. Type and amount of powder = 4 grn W 231
4. Primer = small Winchester
5. gun used = PA-63
6. Special notes = medium load, used for target and defense

You might want to send Norm a PM to see what he sez .... I dont use that powder and if you have not used that load in you p-64 ether you might want to ask .... I think the .2 grain will be OK but it's not my firearm .....

But if Norm sez it's a medium load I think you will be fine ..... Ask Him First
