Took my new Mak to the range today. I'm wondering the whole time, "Am I this good?"

100 rounds of PPU 9mm Makarov at a Lee right hand diagnostic target. Fully 1/3 or my shots in the inner circle at 25 feet. Most misses were too much trigger finger.

With my Krav Maga self defense and stress training and a pretty comfortable feel with both the Makarov and my P64 I'm feeling quite capable of protecting myself and my family.

You just can't beat some of these cold war commie guns.

The basic PPK-esque design (fixed barrel attached to the frame) is potentially quite accurate. How Smith & Wesson managed to screw up my PPK is beyond me. While the accuracy is perfectly acceptable for what it is, all of my Com Block PPK-inspired guns will outshoot it, if not out and out embarrass it.
