Never heard anything about this example.

I'm assuming it was one of the first importers to bring them in with their name stamped on it at the factory?

It said it was imported by Archer Arms. Archer, Arrow... see the similarity. They even put their logo of an Archer dude on it. So, I'd say it was added by the importer. Kind of lame and puts extra crap on the slide. However, some folks may like it. Thanks for sharing Curly.
