I'm wanting to get a Tokarev. Romanian, Yugo, Russian--- I don't paticularly care which. What glaring differences are there? Will grips interchange? Any help will be appreciated!! Thanks!

A Yugo Tok carries one more round than its cousins do. So, Yugo Tok mags and grips are NOT interchangeable with non-Yugos.

I really like my Yugo Tok -- but boy does she sling brass! Into the next county, for crying out loud.

I have three Tokarevs...a Chinese, a Romanian and a Yugoslavian (still keeping my eyes open for a Polish version). The Yugoslavian is my favorite by far: one extra round, a much nicer ‘afterthought’ safety, a captive recoil spring (makes for easier disassembly), and it seems to be quite a bit more accurate than the other two, though I don’t really know why. The downside is the oddball magazine, obviously.
