Mak 116gr loads

Well I fired a whole gamut of 116gr loads starting at 3.0grs to 3.8grs of Unique and ended up with a I stopped at 3.8grs with a 895FS load. So I thought about it and loaded another load for 3.9grs and chronographed them and ended with the results of:
Hi 929fps
Low 863fps
Avg 900fps
SD 30fps
ES 66fps
The brass remains in excellent shape, no primer moving or flattening, no primer strike curling or brass stretching. My question is this, I have done a lot of rifle cartridge reloading in my life but hardly any pistol cartridges these aboven rifle brass inspections would tell me I could keep going with my reloads but do they mean the same for pistol reloads?
I would like to try 4.0grs of Unique before I stopped but I want to make sure pistol and rifle brass signs remain same. Any advice or knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead,
