Ft.Myers Gun Show 12/10/06

Post by nimble1 »

Just got back from the guns show and wanted to report. Saw only 2 sellers with P64's. One was in a display with other small pistols, he wanted $230 !!!
How ever the other seller had a selection of 9x18 pistols. He was asking $149 which was what I paid for mine a year ago. Not a bad price. I looked at them and some showed s little wear around the muzzle and all were made in 72. I don't know if they came with any accessories.
On the down side, very little 9x18 ammo..paid $15.00 for a box of 95 gr. S&B. I guess if I am gonna shoot much I need to mail order.

Did they look like this image? Image
This is my personal pistol - it's not wear, it's chrome. They very well may been new and unissued. I'd say one sure-fire way to tell is to check out the feed ramp and look for the presence of cosmoline or packing grease. Still, the point I take from this is that I feel the supply is starting to dry up a little. Good for us - bad for them!
