Any word on the FEG R61? Heard it might be smaller and lighter yet than the P64 (which I love), and also in the 9x18 Mak chambering.

every once in a while one will show up , FEG has not made that gun for years, they went to the steel frame BR-61, and seeing FEG may or may not be in business any more, they are rare

BR-61 on the left , P-64 on right

Wow! Those are absolutely beautiful! What did you do to get the finish to look so dark and glossy? Did you re-blue them and add new grips? I want my P-64 to look like that!

How does the BR-61 compare to the P-64? Is it a bit lighter and more compact? How does it shoot?

What's your favorite between the two?

that and old scanned pix , the grips I polish smooth on both of them , I don't like checkered grips , didn't refinish ether of the guns, I think the Br-61 has less bit to it than the P-64 accuracy is about the same,
the BR-61 is little lighter but not much

this is the way they are now I have 2 of them ,I put Dennis grip's on them

the R-61 is lighter because it has an alloy frame, the BR -61 is the same size as the original PPK

If you did a search here, you'd find a thread on mine . . . ;) There's a nice SMC-918 (same thing, civilian clothes) on GB right now.

Thought I'd post these pix (taken Saturday) of my friend's P-64 next to my R61.
