The red dot on my slide came off while I was cleaning the firing pin. What would be best to reapply it ?

I just used nail polish, red color. So far it has held up good and it's been on there for a little while. I didn't like the color of mine, so I scratched it off on purpose. That's why I used nail polish to reapply it. Model car paint would work excellent... basically any sort of enamel finish.

I had the same issue awhile back. juniustaylor is right, red nail polish works like a charm. Be sure to degrease the spot first. Also go real easy with the applicator, in my case one small drop of polish completely filled the space.

That's right hangfire, I should have mentioned that as well. Definitely degrease and use a little dab at a time of the nail polish.

Put a dot of paint on your front sight while you're at it. Get the ladies involved in picking a color. They like that. I ended up with a hot orange color.
