it will not feed reliable in a PA-63 for one, and the Pa-63 has a alloy frame it not very wise

The alloy frame of the PA-63 often shows scars of abuse a bit more readily than steel. If you're using a higher grain bullet, you run into the possibility of the slide abusing the frame more during recoil.

Replacing two boxes of ammo is cheaper than replacing a gun.

3030,
Double check the ammo!!! BB makes mostly 95gr ammo for the PA-63. But, I know Brown Bear makes 115 gr -- 9x19 ammo. Be careful not to shoot 9mm Para. (Luger) ammo in anything made for the 9x18 Makarov !!!

Don't know if anyone still sells the 115gr Brown Bear. Cartridge too long for the pistols and it is a JHP. Check the Barrel twist between the 9mm luger 1T to 9.84 inches and the Makarov 1T to 9.45 inches. Pretty close to each other considering one is a .355 vs .365 and using formulas they are very close. I read where one pistolero polished and honed down part of his feed ramp and then they feed ok. Most guys were getting 1000fps and 250 Lbs ft at the Muzzle. Thats not a whole lot more muzzle energy than a lot the faster European rounds.

I wrote a letter to Hornady Customer sales and asked the question when were they going to develop a CDI for the 9X18 Mak and they replied 2011. So that probably is the round when developed that I would use for carry in my Mak. Until it comes out I have a brand new 9mm Ruger SR9c thats the same size as the Mak's or very close. If I get used to carrying it I might always carry it.

I have been looking at the Ruger SR9c. I take it that you like it. Do you know the going price? I have only seen prices for its big brothers.
