Absolutely beautiful! Papa, do you reload for the .30 carbine? Any chance we could get some mor epics of that one? (It's one of my favorites )

dickfunk,
As of yet I don't reload for the M1 Carbine, I have a ton of .30cal, both surplus and factory, bought it long ago when the price was cheap.
Here is my M1 Carbine, its a '44 Inland barrel date w/cross cannon cartouche on the stock.

Man those are great - just my style!
I love the 30 cal - thanks for the extra photo. Is the park on that M1 all original? Looks like it's in fantastic shape.
Oh yeah, can I have that carbine...you know, to hold for you?

This M1is a rebuild, all GI parts except for the Boyd stock and barrel, the receiver is a '43 Springfield and the park on it is original and everything else is GI. When I got it the barrel was pitted and frosty, both crown and chamber were well over 10, so I had a new barrel installed. Its a great shooter and someone with much younger eyes has shot it at 300 yds and got a 4" group with it using new factory ammo, for me a 4" group at 50 yds is a stretch without a rest.
As for the carbine, ah, thanks for the offer, but I'll keep ya in mind if I run outa space...... ;D
